Adi Smolar, a folk singer and songwriter, was born on March 25, 1959 in Slovenj Gradec, Slovenia. From a young age, Adi had a strong attachment to music. He would spend hours both listening to music and playing the guitar, studying the history of music and the work of other musicians.

Early Career
Adi Smolar made his first appearance on stage in 1981, performing his own original songs. In 1989, Adi Smolar decided to take his career to the next level and released his first cassette titled "Nas svet se papa vrti" (Our World Keeps Spinning). Adi Smolar currently resides in Ravne na Koroskem, Slovenia. He has a loving family, with a beloved wife and son. Adi continues to actively work, composing new songs and music. In addition to his folk compositions, Adi Smolar also plays folk-rock, an engaging musical genre that combines elements of folk and rock music. The pioneers of this genre include Bob Dylan, Buffalo Springfield, and other professional musicians.
