Born and raised in the city of Rohtak, Haryana, Adish Agarwal pursued his education at the prestigious Vaish College. Throughout his college years, he actively participated in student affairs and was elected President of the Students' Union.

Legal Career

In 1972, Agarwal was appointed as Senior Advocate of the Haryana State Bar Council and Advocate of the Punjab State Bar Council. He rose through the ranks to become a Senior Government Counsel in the Supreme Court of India and the Delhi High Court.

Political and Educational Reforms

During Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi's tenure, Agarwal was appointed as Senior Advisor to the Government of India in 1986. He played a pivotal role in reforming India's education sector, raising the standard of legal education, and establishing approximately 140 new law schools. Despite changes in government, Agarwal was reappointed as Senior Advisor, a testament to his exceptional contributions.

Literary Pursuits

Adish Agarwal has authored numerous books, including "The Constitution of India" (2008), which was highly praised by the then Prime Minister Manmohan Singh. He has also contributed to several other publications, edited by high-ranking officials such as the Vice President of India, the Minister of Law and Justice, and the Minister of Finance. He has also served as the official representative of the Government of India at formal receptions.
