Glory Days at Torino

With Torino, Baloncieri formed a legendary attacking trio with Julio Libonatti and Gino Rossetti, known as the "Trio delle Meraviglie" (Trio of Marvels). Together, they scored an incredible 117 goals in 33 matches during the 1928/1929 season. Baloncieri also helped Torino win two Italian championships, although one was later annulled.

International Success

He played a pivotal role in Italy's bronze medal victory at the 1928 Olympics, scoring six goals and finishing as the tournament's second-highest scorer. Notably, he became the first player to score the 100th goal for the Italian national team in 1927.
