Biography of Adrienne Vittadini

Adrienne Vittadini is an American fashion designer of Hungarian descent. Born in Budapest, Hungary, she was forced to flee the country with her family during the revolution when she was 12 years old. They settled in the United States, where Adrienne later attended Moore College of Art in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

After completing her education, Vittadini won a scholarship to become an apprentice to the renowned French designer Louis Feraud. She traveled to Paris in 1965 to learn from the master. After her internship, Vittadini returned to New York, where she initially pursued fashion as a hobby. Little did she know that her hobby would eventually turn into a multimillion-dollar company.

Vittadini started her career with a line of knitwear. As a talented artist, she was able to create unique combinations of colors and lines, while also designing comfortable clothing as a woman. Over time, Adrienne expanded her company to include footwear, handbags, swimwear, and much more. Today, the label 'The Adrienne Vittadini' can be seen on the clothing of many modern active women who appreciate not only the external beauty but also the incredible comfort that Adrienne's products offer.

She built her fashion empire by listening to the desires and dreams of her customers, consistently fulfilling their dreams, which earned her the love of women worldwide. In 1996, Adrienne sold her company but retained her position as chairman. Unfortunately, she was unable to reconcile with the new management, and in 1998, she left her firm along with her husband, Gianluigi.

However, the label successfully continued without its creator. In 2001, the company was acquired by the 'Retail Brand Alliance'. Currently, Vittadini resides in Sarasota, Florida, where she has shifted her focus to fashion furniture and interior design while still leaving her mark in the industry.
