Early Life and Club Career
Mohamed Hussein Abdulkareem Al-Sahaf was born in Saudi Arabia and began his professional football career in 1998 with Al-Ettifaq in Dammam. He spent a significant portion of his career with the club until 2006, playing alongside notable players such as Mohammad Al-Deayea and Sami Al-Jaber. During his time at Al-Ettifaq, the team achieved success by winning the Saudi Federation Cup twice.
Move to Al-Shabab and Return to Al-Ettifaq
In early 2006, Al-Sahaf made a move to another prominent Saudi club, Al-Shabab. He helped the team secure the Saudi Premier League title but was unable to establish himself as a regular starter. This led to his return to Al-Ettifaq later that year.
Al-Nassr and Later Career
After a brief stint back at Al-Ettifaq, Al-Sahaf signed with Al-Nassr in 2007. He continued to enjoy success, adding another Saudi Federation Cup triumph to his collection in 2008.
International Career
Al-Sahaf made his Saudi Arabian national team debut in 2005. He was part of the squad that participated in the 2006 FIFA World Cup in Germany. In subsequent years, he played a pivotal role in Saudi Arabia's campaign at the 2007 AFC Asian Cup, reaching the final but ultimately losing to Iraq.
