Early Career and International Beginnings
Ahmed Dursun, a Turkish forward, began his football journey in Germany with Wattenscheid 09. In 1996, he returned to Turkey and joined Kocaelispor, where he caught the attention of the Turkish youth national team.
Breakthrough at Beşiktaş and National Debut
In the 1999/00 season, Dursun signed for Beşiktaş, and his exceptional performance that year, scoring 21 goals, propelled him into the Turkish national team.
International Stardom and Overseas Adventure
Dursun's success at Beşiktaş led him to make a move to Tianjin Teda in China during the winter of 2004. However, his stint in China was short-lived, and he returned to Turkey to join İstanbulspor in the 2004/05 season.
Return to Beşiktaş and Domestic Success
Dursun's impressive performance at İstanbulspor prompted Beşiktaş to bring him back to their squad. From 2008 onwards, he played for Kocaelispor, adding to his tally of domestic titles.
