Biography of Alan Kardec

Early Life and Career

Alan Kardec is a Brazilian football player who currently plays as a forward for the Chinese club "Chongqing Lifan." He started his career at Vasco da Gama, where he made his debut on February 14, 2007, in a match against Botafogo in the Rio de Janeiro State Championship.

Breakthrough with Vasco da Gama

On April 11, 2007, Kardec scored his first goal for Vasco da Gama in a match against Botafogo, which ended in a 4-4 draw. He continued to impress and scored his first goal in the Brazilian Championship on July 21, 2007, when Vasco defeated Atletico Mineiro 4-0. In that season, he played a total of 26 matches and scored eight goals.

Move to Benfica

In December 2009, it was announced that Alan Kardec would join the Portuguese club Benfica from the beginning of 2010. Vasco da Gama received a compensation fee of 2.5 million euros for his transfer. On December 22, 2009, Kardec signed a contract with the Lisbon-based club.

Career at Benfica
