Early Career and European Travels
Stefan Prijovic, a Swiss-born Serbian footballer, was born in St. Gallen, Switzerland. He began his football journey at the local FC St. Gallen youth team before moving to Italian club Parma at the age of 16. However, he saw limited playing time, making only one appearance as a substitute in the Serie A match against Reggina on April 27, 2008.
In 2008, Prijovic joined English club Derby County and was immediately loaned out to Yeovil Town. He made his debut for Yeovil in January 2009 and scored his first goals while on loan with Northampton Town.
Stints at Sion and Tromso
In February 2010, Prijovic signed for Swiss club FC Sion, where he remained for two years, making 41 appearances and scoring six goals. After a loan spell with Tromso, he moved to Swedish club Djurgarden in 2013.
Success in Turkey and Poland
After a successful season in Sweden, Prijovic joined Turkish side Boluspor in 2014 and continued to impress with his goal-scoring abilities. In 2015, he transferred to Polish club Legia Warsaw, making his debut in July of that year.
