Biography of Alexander Bogdanovich
Alexander Bogdanovich, a pop singer, was born on June 10, 1967, in the beautiful ancient city of Lviv. He grew up in a family of young medical students, and his mother had a direct connection to music as she studied vocal music at Lviv Conservatory. From a young age, Alexander heard his mother singing, and it was then that he first felt a sense of beauty in his soul.
During his school years, he was a soloist in a children's choir and participated in various artistic competitions and performances. Simultaneously, he attended a music school. One of his fondest childhood memories is going to the mountains with his younger brother and father, where they would sing and listen to the echoes. The beauty of the Carpathian Mountains, snow-covered peaks, singing trembitas, and national traditions all influenced and reflected in his future creative work.
After graduating from high school in 1984, Alexander enrolled in medical school but did not pass the entrance exam. However, he made good use of his time by completing a driving school and culinary training before serving in the Soviet Armed Forces in 1986. During his military service in cities like Aktobe, Kharkiv, Gorky, and Yalta, he continued pursuing his passion for singing by participating in soldier song competitions and singing in formation. His service in Yalta, a paradise-like corner, inspired Alexander. The beauty of nature, the roaring sea during storms, made him want to sing, rejoice, and dance.
After completing his military service, Alexander enrolled in medical school again but realized after a year that his calling was music. In 1989, he traveled to Leninakan and Spitak on humanitarian aid trains after the earthquake in Armenia, providing assistance in the destroyed cities. Fate led him to Buenos Aires, Argentina, where he was captivated by the city's old romances, Neapolitan colors, and Argentine tango. The historic district of Caminito, where people of all ages sing and dance on the cobblestones, preserving the traditions of Spain, Italy, and Argentine gauchos.
Returning to Moscow, he immersed himself in singing, dancing, and education. His vocal teachers, Albina Tupalskaya and Vladislav Verestnikov, a soloist of the Bolshoi Theatre, played a significant role in his musical development. From childhood, Alexander dreamed of being on stage and singing. Destiny helped him not only meet but also work with the brightest stars of the Russian pop scene like Valery Leontiev, Irina Ponarovskaya, and Igor Krutoy. His interactions with these outstanding artists became a creative school for the young and charming singer.
Alexander is a very determined person who admits that he inherited his mysterious soul from his mother and his strong character, courage, and determination from his father. He appeared in music videos for the group "Shinshily" (the song "Girls Shinshily"), Valery Leontiev's video "Tuner," where he played three roles, and "We Are Two" with Ruslana Pysanka and Valery Leontiev. He has performed in collective concerts in prestigious venues such as the Kremlin Palace of Congresses, GCC "Russia" in Moscow, and BKZ "October" in St. Petersburg. He has also performed at city celebration events on various stages.
