Biography of Alexander Itin

Alexander Itin is an executive director of the company "Otechestvennye Lekarstva" (Domestic Medicines). He graduated from the Academy of National Economy under the Government of the Russian Federation in 2005, with a degree in DBA.

After working for the competitors at "Nizhpharm," Alexander Itin received an offer from "Otechestvennye Lekarstva." He was tasked with improving the production of more complex products than the usual generics. At the time of Itin's arrival, generics accounted for 100% of the company's sales, but by the end of 2006, this share had decreased to 81%. However, not all marketing moves were successful. For example, the collaboration with "Wimm-Bill-Dann" on the production of the Bio-Max vitamin complex faced difficulties. Nevertheless, Itin continues to experiment, and the company recently released a new product - toothpaste for pregnant women.
