Sergei Plotnikov
Early Life and CareerSergei Plotnikov is a Russian professional ice hockey player who plays as a forward. He began his hockey career in his hometown of Yekaterinburg, Russia, where he played for the local youth team, Yevgeni Kasperi's "Yunost" (Youth).
Professional Career
Plotnikov made his professional debut in the 2005-06 season with Dynamo-Energiya in the Russian Second Division. Over the following years, he played for various teams in the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL), including Neftekhimik Nizhnekamsk, Ak Bars Kazan, Magnitogorsk Metallurg, CSKA Moscow, SKA Saint Petersburg, Yugra Khanty-Mansiysk, and Avtomobilist Yekaterinburg.
International Career
Plotnikov represented Russia internationally in 35 games between 2004 and 2008. He scored two goals and registered ten assists during his time with the national team.
