Early Life and TrainingAlex Aristides Reid was born on August 21, 1975, and began his martial arts training at the age of 14. He studied kung fu and karate before transitioning to a mixed program that included boxing, kickboxing, judo, and jiu-jitsu.
Acting Career
In 1998, Reid attended the Guildford School of Acting in Surrey. One of his first acting roles was in Peter Thomson's film, where he had to perform nude scenes. He later had appearances in the popular ITV show "Gladiators" and a recurring role in the TV series "Soldier Soldier." In 2001, he joined the cast of the Channel 4 soap opera "Hollyoaks." He was also a stunt double for Tom Hanks in "Saving Private Ryan."
