Early LifeAlexander Schneider was born in 1968 in Leningrad, USSR. His father was an engineer, and his mother was a dentist. In 1974, the family immigrated to Israel, where they settled in Netanya. In 1984, the Schneiders moved to Canada, where Alex's parents opened a grocery store in a Russian-speaking neighborhood.
