Andriy Makarov

Early Life and Career

Andriy Makarov is a Ukrainian professional footballer who started his career at the Cherno Morets Odessa youth academy. He made his professional debut in the 2006/07 season for the second team of Cherno Morets Odessa in the city championship.

Breakthrough at Ilyichevets Mariupol

In 2007/08, Makarov joined Ilyichevets Mariupol, then playing in the Ukrainian First League. Under coach Semen Altman, he played seven matches for the team and then returned to the youth squad of Cherno Morets Odessa for two more appearances.

Loan to Dniester

In November 2008, Makarov signed a contract with FC Dniester. He made his debut for the team in the 17th round of the Ukrainian First League against Stal Alchevsk, coming on as a substitute.

International Success

Makarov has enjoyed success at the international level, winning the following titles:
