Polish Artist and Educator
Henryk Pillati (1827-1890) was a renowned Polish painter and educator. His artistic journey began at the School of Fine Arts in Warsaw, where he studied under the tutelage of Aleksander Kokular.
Academic Training in St. Petersburg and Rome
In 1843, Pillati embarked on a period of academic training at the Imperial Academy of Arts in St. Petersburg. After completing his studies there in 1847, he continued his education in Rome, where he resided from 1848 to 1858.
Encounter in Paris

Return to Warsaw as Professor
