Early Career and Club Football

Andriy Pyatov was born in Kirovskoye, Ukraine, and began his football journey with the local team FC Kirovets in Makiivka. He later joined the youth academy of Ukrainian powerhouse FC Shakhtar Donetsk, where he represented the club's reserve teams. In 2004, Pyatov was promoted to Shakhtar's third team, FC Shakhtar-3. Over the following years, he also featured for Shakhtar's second team and the first team reserves.

Shakhtar Donetsk Debut and Departure

Pyatov's solitary appearance for Shakhtar's first team came on June 17, 2007, in a 0-2 defeat against FC Metalurh Zaporizhya. After leaving Shakhtar Donetsk in the summer of 2008, Pyatov temporarily played for FC Hermes in the Ukrainian First League.

Post-Shakhtar Career

Since 2010, Pyatov has been a mainstay in the goal for FC Nova-Lyuks, a team competing in the Donetsk Oblast Football Championship. Despite not reaching the heights of his Shakhtar days, Pyatov has been a reliable presence for Nova-Lyuks.

International Career

Pyatov earned one cap for Ukraine's U-21 national team on November 15, 2006. In a friendly against Uzbekistan, he played the first 46 minutes before being substituted for Yuriy Martyshuk.
