Biography:Ukrainian animator, director, and screenwriter, known for his work in hand-drawn animation. Graduated from the Kiev Scientific Film animation courses in 1970 and worked as an animator there. Simultaneously, he graduated from the Kiev Institute of Culture in 1981.
Early Career
In the late 1970s, collaborated with other young animators on "underground" cartoons by Alexander Tatarsky in a dedicated animation club at the Palace of Pioneers. Directed animated films at Kiev Scientific Film in the 1980s. Notable works include "How Petya Pyatochkin Counted Elephants" and "The Desperate Cat Vaska."
