Early Life and Career
Ukrainian footballer Volodymyr Bystrov was born on April 1, 1972. His first coaches were Sergey Ikonnikov and Yuri Babichev, and he began training in 1986. In 1992, he graduated from the UOR (Donetsk) football academy.
Professional Career
Bystrov began his professional career in 1994 with the Ukrainian Second Division club Silur (Kharkiv) alongside Viktor Arefyev and Alexander Spivak. He later moved to Odessa and made his Ukrainian Premier League debut with Chornomorets in 1994.
From 1998 to 2000, Bystrov played for Kryvbas, followed by a brief stint at Vorskla Poltava. In 2001, he joined Metalurh Donetsk, where he remained intermittently until 2008.
International Career
Bystrov represented Ukraine at the international level, earning four caps. He made his debut on May 1, 1996, in a friendly match against Turkey.
