Oleg Venglynskyi began his football career in Ukraine, playing for the renowned coach O. Y. Rozeninshtraukh. He represented the Ukrainian national team in three friendly matches between 2001 and 2002.
Club Career and UEFA Cup Participation
As a defender, Venglynskyi played for several clubs, including Karpaty Lviv, Metalist Kharkiv, and Vorskla Poltava. He achieved significant success, winning the Russian Premier League title with Saturn in 2001 and earning bronze medals in the Ukrainian Premier League and Moldovan National Division. Venglynskyi also participated in nine UEFA Cup matches throughout his career.
Coaching Career
Assistant Coach and U-21 CoachVenglynskyi transitioned into coaching in June 2012, when he became the head coach of Kryvbas's youth team (U-21). In January 2014, he joined the coaching staff of MF K Nikolaev as an assistant coach to Vladimir Ponomarenko.
Assistant Coach at Cherno Morec
In January 2015, Venglynskyi became an assistant coach at FC Chernomorets Odesa. He served in this role until August 2017, when he was appointed caretaker manager of the club. However, he was removed from the position shortly after.
Assistant Coach with BATE and Atyrau
Venglynskyi joined the coaching staff of BATE in January 2018, assisting Oleg Dulub. In May 2019, he and Dulub moved to the Kazakh club Atyrau in the same capacity.
