Alexandra Breckenridge is an American actress, photographer, and voice actress known for her work in film and television. She is best known for her role as the voice of various characters in the animated series "Family Guy." Breckenridge has also gained recognition for her roles as Willa McPherson in "Dirt," Moira in "American Horror Story," Katarina in "True Blood," Vivian in "The Ex List," and Abby Cassidy in "Life Unexpected." Notably, her uncle is actor Michael Weatherly.

Alexandra Breckenridge was born on May 15, 1982, in Bridgeport, Connecticut. She spent her early years in Darien, Connecticut, before moving to Mill Valley, California, at the age of 11. It was during this time that Breckenridge developed an interest in acting, photography, singing, and playing the guitar. At the age of 15, her passion for film and theater led her and her mother to relocate to Los Angeles, California, in pursuit of a career in the entertainment industry.

Breckenridge made her screen debut in 1998 with a small role in the television film "Even the Losers." She went on to appear in the telefilm "Locust Valley" in 1999 and an episode of "Dawson's Creek" titled "Valentine's Day Massacre" in 2000. In the same year, she was cast as Shelly Weaver in the series "Freaks and Geeks." It was during an audition for this role that Breckenridge met actor James Franco, who recognized her on the set.

Following her appearance in "Freaks and Geeks," Breckenridge had guest roles in popular TV shows such as "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation," "Buffy the Vampire Slayer," "Charmed," "Undeclared," "Medium," and "JAG." She landed a more prominent role in the series "Opposite Sex" and made her film debut in "Big Fat Liar" in 2002.

From 2005 to 2011, Breckenridge provided her voice for various characters in 40 episodes of the animated series "Family Guy." Initially cast for a small guest role, her voice talent impressed the creators of the show, leading to recurring and expanding roles.

Breckenridge was in a relationship with artist Bryten Goss for two years until his untimely death in 2006. She also dated actor Evan Peters, whom she reconnected with on the set of "American Horror Story."
