Alexander Garese is a lawyer, investor, and businessman who actively participates in the activities of the international organization Young President Association, which provides business contacts and career growth for young leaders in international business.

Early Life and Education

Alexander Garese was born in France in 1968. In 1991, he obtained a master's degree in Business and International Law from Sorbonne University. A year later, he served in alternative service at the French Embassy in Moscow, working in the visa department while simultaneously studying the Russian language. In 1993, he completed additional education, earning a DEA in International Law from the University of Pantheon-Assas in Paris and a DESS in International Business Law from Nanterre-La Défense.

Legal Career and Business Ventures

In 1995, Alexander Garese, along with his partners, opened the law firm Seeberg, Stabreit, and Garese in Moscow, which later operates under the brand Garese & Associates. The firm's clients included prominent Russian businessmen. Garese actively participated in structuring deals for the privatization of energy companies, such as VS Energy, in Ukraine in the mid-2000s. He also served on the board of directors of CSKA, a football club. In 2000, Garese became an arbitrator at the International Commercial Arbitration Court.

Cafe and Bakery Chain "Volkonsky"

In 2005, Alexander Garese and his spouse opened a chain of cafe-bakeries called "Volkonsky." Currently, the chain has more than 60 establishments in Russia and Ukraine.

Legal and Investment Activities

In 2010, Garese became a member of the Moscow Regional Bar Association, and four years later, he joined the Paris Bar Association. Starting in 2014, he actively developed the project expertise of his company, while also investing in various projects, including the restaurant-club "Kuznya" in Novaya Gollandiya, the business club Kelia, the yoga club, the gourmet cafe Cooker's, and digital media project SplashProject.
