Early Life and Career

Alexandre Rodrigues da Silva, better known as Alexandre Pato, was born on September 2, 1989, in Pato Branco, Brazil. His nickname, "Pato," combines his first name, Alexandre, with the name of his hometown. Pato grew up in the youth academy of Brazilian club Internacional, making his debut in 2006 at the age of 17.

Following Internacional's victory in the 2006 Copa Libertadores, Pato became a key part of the first team. He made his league debut on November 26, 2006, and scored one goal and provided three assists in a 4-1 win over Palmeiras.

The Brazilian was unable to make his debut until January 3, 2008, due to age restrictions in Italy. However, he impressed in pre-season matches, scoring a goal against Dynamo Kyiv.
