Early Life and Education
Alexei Nikolaevich Gedeonov was born and currently resides in Kiev. He holds a degree in sociology and is married with a son.
Literary Beginnings
Gedeonov embarked on his literary journey in 2010. He collaborates closely with the Shiko publishing house in Luhansk, which has published numerous works of his.
"The Random Guest": A Breakthrough
In 2011, Gedeonov released his debut novel, "The Random Guest." Its distinctive feature lies in its use of "gvara," a dialect prevalent in pre-war Lviv. This unique writing style garnered the novel the Grand Prix in the "Activation of Words" contest.
Anthology Compilation
Beyond his novels, Gedeonov has also compiled several short story anthologies for Shiko. His first compilation, "Hidden Not Forgotten," was released in 2012 as part of the "Mythology Anthology" series. Other compilations followed, including "Nemertnik" and an upcoming project titled "Wanderers and Magic."
