Biography of Alexey Kudlay
Alexey Kudlay is a Ukrainian football player and a mini-football defender for the St. Petersburg club "Polytech". He has also represented the Ukrainian national team in mini-football. Kudlay started his football career at the Ukrainian First League club "Poligraftekhnika" in Alexandria. However, due to a serious heel injury, he had to end his football career.
Transition to Mini-Football
A couple of years later, Alexey participated in the Kharkiv Championship in mini-football, after which he was offered the opportunity to try his skills in the Ukrainian championship. Over the next two years, he played for clubs such as "Kharkiv", "Winner-Ford University", and "Zaporozhkoks-University". He then moved to Russia and became a player for the Ekaterinburg-based team "Alfa". With "Alfa", Kudlay won the Russian Cup and the first unofficial European Cup of Cup Winners.
Continued Success in Russia
After the disbandment of the team, Alexey moved to another Ekaterinburg club, "VIZ-Sinar", where he played for two seasons. He then joined one of the strongest teams in Russia at that time, Moscow's "Dynamo". As part of "Dynamo", Kudlay became a three-time Russian champion, won two national cups, reached the final of the UEFA Mini-Football Cup three times, and won it in the 2006/07 season. In the final of the 2004/05 tournament, Alexey scored a goal against the Belgian team "Aktion 21".
Later Career
After leaving "Dynamo", Kudlay played for the Shchyolkovo-based team "Spartak-Shchyolkovo", Moscow's "Dynamo-2", and since the summer of 2010, he has been a player for the St. Petersburg club "Polytech". As part of the Ukrainian national team in mini-football, Kudlay has twice been a silver medalist in the European Mini-Football Championship.
