Early Life and Education

Alfred Lewis Enoch, affectionately known as "Alfie," was born on December 2, 1988, in London, England to Anglo-Brazilian parents. His father, William Russell, is a British actor, and his mother is a physiologist from Brazil. Alfred attended Westminster School, a public boarding school in London, where he excelled academically and as a member of the successful rowing team.

Acting Debut and "Harry Potter" Fame

At the tender age of twelve, Enoch debuted on stage at the New Globe Theatre. The following year, he made his film debut as Dean Thomas, a Gryffindor classmate of Harry Potter in the first "Harry Potter" film, "The Philosopher's Stone" (2001). Enoch went on to reprise his role in five subsequent "Harry Potter" installments, playing Dean Thomas throughout the beloved fantasy franchise.
