Biography of Alfred 23 Harth
Alfred 23 Harth, also known as A23H, is a German musician, composer, and multi-instrumentalist. He is known for his eclectic and polymorphic approach to music, blending various genres in a poly-stylistic manner.

Early Years and Formation of 'E.M.T.'
At the age of 23, Alfred Harth founded the group 'E.M.T.' along with Belgian artist and pianist Nicole Van den Plas and Swedish musician Sven-Åke Johansson. The trio performed both classical pieces, such as Grieg and Schubert, as well as contemporary improvisational compositions.

Collaboration with 'loft jazz' and 'Duo Goebbels/Harth'
In 1976, Harth joined the 'loft jazz' project in New York, and their first album, 'Duo Goebbels/Harth,' featuring compositions by Hanns Eisler and Johann Sebastian Bach, was released. Harth also began working with video during this time.

Theatre and 'Cassiber'
In 1979, Harth started composing for theater and delved into punk-jazz. In 1982, he co-founded 'Cassiber' and helped establish the musical collective 'Duck and Cover,' which included musicians like Chris Cutler, Tom Cora, and Dagmar Krause.
Transition to Alfred 23 Harth
In 1985, Harth added the number 23 to his name, becoming Alfred 23 Harth or A23H. During this period, he worked on the LP 'Nouvelle Cuisine' with the avant-garde group 'Gestalt et Jive' and participated in Micky Remann's concert in Frankfurt/Main. He also produced the album 'Anything Goes'.
'Vladimir Estragon' and Artistic Endeavors
In 1988, Harth wrote his manifesto 'Paradigmenwechsel' and formed the band 'Vladimir Estragon' playing avant-rock. Besides his musical projects, he actively presented his artworks, including paintings and installations.
Meeting Yi Soonjoo and 'Delicatesy Avantgarde'
In 1992, Harth met his wife, Korean artist Yi Soonjoo, and appeared in a short film on Moscow television, which was also shown at the International Short Film Festival Oberhausen. In 1994, Harth joined the artists' group 'Delicatesy Avantgarde' in Gdansk.
Trio Viriditas and Prolific Career
One of Harth's notable musical projects is the trio 'Trio Viriditas,' which started in 2000 in New York. Alongside Harth, the trio included Wilber Morris and Kevin Norton, and they released two albums. Harth is known for his active involvement in numerous projects, including 'Duo Goebbels/Harth,' 'Cassiber,' 'Duck and Cover,' 'Gestalt et Jive,' 'Duo Brötzmann/23 Harth,' 'QuasarQuartet,' 'Otomo Yoshihide New Jazz Orchestra' (ONJO), 'Taste Tribes,' and many others.
