Early Life and Gymnastics CareerAlien Bakerot, a professional gymnast and actress, was born in New York. From an early age, Alien's parents instilled in her a love for sports and a healthy lifestyle, so by the age of three, she was already learning ballroom dancing. At the age of 11, Bakerot fell in love with artistic gymnastics. She would rush to training immediately after school, almost every day. It's no wonder that a few years later, Alien Bakerot became a true professional, and after a series of victories in national competitions, she was invited to represent the United States in the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta. However, to the dismay of her family and loved ones, Alien asked to give her place in the team to another athlete and eventually left professional sports to fully focus on her work in film and theater.
Debut on Broadway and Hollywood
Alien Bakerot's debut on Broadway took place in 1994, and since then she has gradually become a regular on the Broadway stage, participating in popular musicals such as "Saturday Night Fever" and "Contact." Surprisingly, her first invitation to Hollywood was not because of a successful performance. One of the producers of the TV series "Detective Rush" happened to accidentally see the performance of the young and charming gymnast at an acrobatics show in New York, and only later, during the audition, discovered that the young athlete had theater experience. Her role in "Detective Nash" was very small, yet Bakerot moved to Hollywood in hopes of new, more serious offers, while working as a dancer in films like "Poseidon" (2006) and "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button" (2008).
Career in Film and Television
Alien Bakerot's first substantial film role can be considered her role in the movie "Spring Break" (2009), where her total screen time exceeded 5 minutes for the first time. Bakerot achieved much greater success on TV: since 2008, she has been a constant participant in the reality show "Circus of the Stars." Alien Bakerot is also a frequent performer in concerts by pop music stars such as Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, Elton John, and others.
Personal Life
In 2006, Alien Bakerot married the famous American gymnast and Olympic medalist from the 1996 Atlanta Olympics, Blaine Wilson. In 2009, Wilson announced the end of his sports career and currently works together with Alien on a new show called "Evening of Gymnastics Stars."
