Early Years and DebutSofia Raffaeli, an Italian rhythmic gymnast, began her journey at the age of 7 under the guidance of renowned coaches Giulietta Cantaluppi, Kristina Giurova, and Bilyana Dyakova at the Fabriano club. Her international debut came at the 2018 European Junior Championships, where she placed 5th in the clubs final. At the 2019 Junior World Championships, she earned three silver medals in the team, ribbon, and clubs events.
Breakthrough and National Success
2020 marked Raffaeli's debut in adult competitions. She claimed third place in the all-around, first place in the clubs, and second place in the ball at the Italian Championships. In 2021, she finished 10th in the all-around at the Sofia World Cup but secured a silver in the clubs and a bronze in the ball in the individual apparatus finals. At the Tashkent World Cup, she added two more silver medals to her tally in the ribbon and hoop finals.

Raffaeli kicked off 2023 with an all-around victory at the Marbella Grand Prix. She also secured a gold in the ribbon final and a silver in the clubs final.
