Early Life and Career
Mirjalol Ashurmamadov is a former Soviet and Tajik footballer who played as a forward. He was born in Tajikistan and began playing football for the local team SKIF-1 in 1989. In 1990, he joined Vaqsh Kurgan-Tyube, where he played for one season before moving to Pamir Dushanbe in 1991.
Professional Career
Ashurmamadov spent two years with Pamir Dushanbe, making a significant contribution to the team's success. In 1993, he moved to the Russian Premier League club Lokomotiv Moscow, where he played for a season before joining Avangard Kolomna in 1994 for another year.
In 1995, Ashurmamadov returned to Tajikistan and signed for Anzhi Makhachkala. He played for Anzhi for three years, helping the team achieve promotion to the Russian Premier League in 1996. In 1999, he returned to his hometown club Varzob Dushanbe, where he spent a season before moving to Irtysh Pavlodar in Kazakhstan in 2001.
Ashurmamadov played for Irtysh Pavlodar for two years, before briefly returning to SKA Pamir Dushanbe in 2004. He then joined Hima Dushanbe in 2005, where he played for two seasons before retiring from professional football in 2007.
Coaching Career
After retiring from playing, Ashurmamadov moved into coaching. In 2008, he became the manager of Pamir GBAO in the Tajik First League. In 2009, he took over as manager of CSKA Pamir Dushanbe, where he led the team to eighth place in the league and a first-ever appearance in the Tajik Cup final. In December 2009, he became the head coach of the Tajikistan U-19 national team, but the team did not play any matches under his management.
In 2010, Ashurmamadov became the manager of Energetik Dushanbe, but was fired after six months due to poor results. In 2011, he rejoined CSKA Pamir Dushanbe as an assistant coach, and became the head coach in March 2012. In August 2013, he joined Parvoz Ghafurov as senior coach.
