Alison Gregorka, born on June 29, 1985, in Ann Arbor, USA, is an American water polo player and participant of the 2008 Olympics. She has achieved numerous prestigious titles and awards throughout her career.

Early Life and Education

Alison Gregorka received her education at Ann Arbor School, where she excelled in both academics and sports. She began actively participating in sports from a young age and showed remarkable talent. In 1998, she started playing water polo when her older brother Brian became a member of a professional water polo team. Gregorka was named the Most Valuable Player in the Michigan State Championship and went on to contribute greatly to her team's success.

Water Polo Career

In 2001, 2002, and 2003, Gregorka was selected to the "First-Team All-American" in recognition of her outstanding performance. In 2001, she joined the "U.S. Youth National Team" and in 2003, she became a part of the "U.S. Junior National Team," which secured the second place at the World Water Polo Championship in Canada.

During her high school years, Alison Gregorka captained the water polo team and also excelled in swimming competitions. She was a member of the "Great Lakes Water Polo" sports club.

Achievements

Alison Gregorka has an impressive list of accomplishments. In 2002, she secured the first place at the Junior Pan American Games with the "Boca Raton" team. In 2005, she became the champion at the Australian Championship. In 2006, she led her team to victory in the FINA World League Championship. The women's American team, with Gregorka as a member, claimed the first position at the World Championship in Melbourne in 2007. In 2008, Alison Gregorka represented her country at the Olympics in Beijing, bringing home the Olympic silver medal.
