Alla Anatolyevna Maslennikova was born on January 1, 1967, in Berdiansk, Ukraine. Though her parents were not involved in the arts, they encouraged her creative pursuits. Maslennikova began her dance training at the Palace of Culture, fueling her passion for choreography and the performing arts.

After graduating from high school, she enrolled at the Voronezh Institute of Arts, intending to pursue a career in ballet. However, fate had other plans, and she transitioned to acting, enrolling in the Kyiv Institute of Theater, Film, and Television.

Maslennikova made her acting debut in 1979 at the Theatre on the Left Bank in the production "Bonna Fide." Despite the long road to her first major roles, she proved her talent and won the hearts of audiences. Her television appearances included "Police" and her breakthrough role in "The Witch" (1992).
