Early Life and Education
Allen Vizzutti, an acclaimed American trumpeter, composer, and educator, was born and raised in Missoula, Montana. His musical journey began with trumpet lessons from his father, Lido Vizzutti, owner of a local music store. Vizzutti honed his skills at the prestigious Eastman School of Music in Rochester, New York.
Performance Career
Throughout his illustrious career, Vizzutti has performed with a vast array of renowned artists and ensembles. His collaborations include the likes of Chick Corea, Doc Severinsen, "The NBC Tonight Show Band," "The Airmen of Note," "The Army Blues," Chuck Mangione, Woody Herman, Japan's NHK Symphony Orchestra, and "The Kosei Wind Orchestra."

Russian Connections
In 2010, Vizzutti embarked on a memorable visit to Russia. At the invitation of Vadim Vilinov, he performed a concert in Rostov-on-Don with the Rostov State Concert Wind Band. Prior to the concert, he conducted two masterclasses in the city. Among Russian composers, Vizzutti holds a deep appreciation for Stravinsky, Prokofiev, and Shostakovich. He also admires the artistry of contemporary Russian trumpeter Sergei Nakariakov.
