Raised primarily by his mother and grandmother, Khalilov immersed himself in a variety of artistic pursuits from a young age, including circus, dance, and painting.
Finding His Path to Acting
Despite excelling in the arts, Khalilov briefly strayed from his acting dream after moving to Moscow. He enrolled in a landscaping design college but soon realized his true calling. Enrolling at the Boris Shchukin Theatre Institute, he honed his talent under the guidance of renowned actress Lyudmila Maksakova.

Khalilov made his screen debut in the 2013 TV series "The Fifth Watch." His performance as Luca in the film "Dance with Me" (2017) garnered him recognition. Subsequently, he returned to his native Azerbaijan for the drama "Inner City" (2017), where he portrayed the emotionally complex role of Ali.
