Early Life and Training
Anastasiya Vinogradova was born and raised in Riga, Latvia. At a young age, she began training under the guidance of Vladimir Danilov.
International Success
In 1993, Vinogradova emerged on the international scene at the World Championship in Kerch, Ukraine. She shared third place with Ludmila Svir from Ukraine, an impressive feat for her first major tournament.
The following year, Vinogradova claimed the title of World Youth Champion at the inaugural tournament organized by the World Draughts Federation (FMJD) in Simferopol, Ukraine.
World Championship Triumph
Vinogradova's greatest triumph came in the 1997 World Championship in Baku, Azerbaijan. Competing under the International Russian Draughts Association (MARSH), she emerged victorious, edging out strong competition from Russia.
Consistent Performance
In addition to her World Championship title, Vinogradova achieved consistent success throughout her career. She captured the bronze medal at the 1995 World Championship (MARSH) in Ukhta, Russia.
