Early Life and Education
Born in 1951, the current Minister of Healthcare for the Republic of Kazakhstan completed his medical education in 1974 from Karaganda Medical Institute, specializing as a sanitary physician.
Early Career in Healthcare
Following his graduation, he held positions as Head of the Sanitary Department at the Kirov District Sanitary and Epidemiological Station in Taldy-Korgan, and later as Chief Physician until 1981.
Political Career
From 1981 to 1987, he served as an instructor for the regional committee of the Communist Party of Kazakhstan. He held the role of Deputy Chairman of the Taldy-Korgan City Executive Committee from 1987 to 1988, followed by positions as an instructor and responsible organizer for the Taldy-Korgan regional party committee.
Return to Healthcare
In 1991, he was appointed as the Chief State Sanitary Physician of Almaty Oblast, a position he held until 1994. From 1994 to 1996, he served as Deputy Minister of Healthcare and Chief State Sanitary Physician of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Medical Center of the Presidential Affairs Department
From August 1996 to September 2006, he led the medical center of the Administrative Department of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Minister of Healthcare (2006-2008)
On September 20, 2006, he was appointed Minister of Healthcare of the Republic of Kazakhstan, a position he held until November 20, 2008.
Subsequent Appointments
On July 27, 2009, he became the Executive Secretary of the Ministry of Environmental Protection of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
