Early Life and Career

Soviet and Belarusian handball goalkeeper, born in Minsk, Belarus. He began his career with SKA Minsk in 1975 and remained with the club until 1990.

National and International Achievements

In 1977, he was part of the Soviet youth team that won the World Championship in Sweden. With SKA Minsk, he won the European Champions Cup three times (1987, 1989, and 1990), the Cup Winners' Cup twice (1983 and 1988), and the Super Cup in 1989.

Honours

In 1989, he was awarded the Merited Master of Sports of the USSR.
International Experience

In 1991, he joined the Dutch club "Anova" Emmen and played for several seasons.

Coaching Career

After retiring from professional handball, he became a youth coach in the Netherlands.

Legacy

Known for his exceptional goalkeeping skills, he played a key role in the success of SKA Minsk and the Soviet national team.
