Biography of Andre Andersen
Andre Andersen is a keyboardist, producer, and songwriter for the rock group Royal Hunt. The band's music is a blend of traditional hard rock, classical arrangements, and exceptional melodiousness. Royal Hunt was formed in 1989 when keyboardist Andre Andersen and bass guitarist Steen Mogensen met. Today, the Danish band with Russian roots has an international following. According to Andre Andersen, the leader of the group, after the phenomenal success of their previous concerts in St. Petersburg, Royal Hunt decided not to keep their fans waiting and are returning to present their new program at the Lensvet Palace on May 24th.
Early Life and Connection to Russia
Andre Andersen was born in Russia and it is said that his classmates attend his concerts and keep up with his creative work. When Andre visited Russia, his classmates organized a meeting. Nowadays, it has become very popular in Russia to create websites like "Classmates," and Andre joined one of them. Only 14 people gathered, but it was very amusing to see everyone. Of course, some of them came to the concert, and Andre hopes that some will come this time as well. Andre has been approached with offers to collaborate with Russian artists, but he hasn't had the time to pursue any projects. During a stay at a hotel, Andre and his bandmates witnessed a memorable incident involving a singer named Philipp Kirkorov. They initially thought it was a woman performing until they saw Philipp Kirkorov's name displayed on the screen. This unexpected encounter left a lasting impression. Andre's music has been used in several Russian films, although he was not directly informed about it. One popular series where his music was used was "March of the Turks." Additionally, his music has been featured in various commercials.
The Average Russian Royal Hunt Fan
Determining the average fan of Royal Hunt has proven difficult. Since 1991, several companies have attempted to define the statistical profile of their fans. The findings indicated that fans range in age from 7 to 63 years old and have varied music preferences, with some not listening to much hard rock or metal while others listen to it extensively. At one point, Royal Hunt even had a mailing department that sent postcards to fans, keeping them updated on the band's activities. The youngest fan was a 7-year-old girl who owned all of their albums. She had no interest in heavy metal music, but was solely focused on Royal Hunt, which amazed Andre.
International Fans
International fans of Royal Hunt differ in their emotional reception of the band's music. When asked why, Andre humorously suggests that he is the dragon himself, as his presence in the music industry over the past decade has become undeniable. Soon, instead of his face, magazines might start using dragon illustrations to represent him.
