Born in England to Haim Morrison, a prominent figure in the United Jewish Community of Great Britain, Andrea Bronfman immigrated to Canada in 1982 after marrying Canadian billionaire Charles Bronfman. The couple did not have any children together, and Charles had three children from a previous marriage.

Andrea and Charles Bronfman were among the world's leading philanthropists. Their foundation provided significant support to organizations and institutions dedicated to education, social welfare, and strengthening national identity.
