Biography of Andrey Dubovskov
Andrey Dubovskov was born in 1966 in Alma-Ata, Kazakh SSR. He graduated from the All-Russian State Institute of Cinematography named after S.A. Gerasimov (VGIK) in 1993. After completing his studies, he started working in Russian and international telecommunications companies. His work experience includes cities such as Moscow, Alma-Ata, Yekaterinburg, Nizhny Novgorod, and Perm.
Professional Career
Andrey Dubovskov's professional career began in Nizhny Novgorod in 2002 when he was appointed as the CEO of one of the companies in the Tele2 Group. After working there until 2004, he moved to a similar position in MTS, also in Nizhny Novgorod. After working as a branch director for a couple of years, he became the director of the MTS Ural macro-region in 2006. Following this, he was promoted to the position of the First Deputy CEO of MTS Ukraine. On February 1, 2008, Dubovskov assumed the role of Acting CEO of MTS Ukraine, and he was officially appointed as the CEO on March 28 of the same year. In March 2011, Dubovskov was promoted once again and became the President of MTS.
Personal Life
Andrey Dubovskov is married and has a son and a daughter. He is well-known in Russia and has appeared numerous times on national television. In an interview, he shared his belief in the importance of career growth through step-by-step progression within a company. He also mentioned that the first year of any job requires dedication without weekends or free evenings, but eventually, one can find a balance between work and personal life.
