Early Life and Career
Andriy Tkachuk is a Ukrainian football player and coach. He began his football journey as a youth player with FC Karpaty Lviv, under the guidance of coach Yaroslav Grygoryovych Kykot. He also represented FC Volyn Lutsk in the DYuFL (Youth Football League).
Professional Career
Tkachuk's professional career began in 2002 with FC Halychyna-Karpaty and FC Karpaty-2. After making only six appearances for the Karpaty first team, he joined FC Enerhetyk Burshtyn in 2004.
FC Naftovyk-Ukrnafta
In 2007, Tkachuk moved to FC Naftovyk-Ukrnafta. He played a pivotal role in helping the team win the First League in the 2006/2007 season, earning promotion to the Ukrainian Premier League. However, the team was relegated from the top flight in the same season.
Transfer Speculation and Return to Naftovyk
In 2008, Tkachuk underwent a trial with FC Zakarpattia Uzhhorod. Despite being listed for transfer, he remained with Naftovyk.
Personal Life
Tkachuk's father, Yaroslav, is a football coach. Andriy himself holds a higher education degree from the Trade Academy.
