Early Career and Club Stints

Andrei Corneencov began his football journey as a youth player for Sheriff Tiraspol. However, he initially struggled to establish himself in the first team and was loaned out to FC Tiraspol, where he made 124 appearances.

Return to Sheriff and Success

Cordeencov eventually returned to Sheriff and became an integral part of the team, leading them to five Moldovan National Championships, three Moldovan Cups, a Moldovan Super Cup, and the Commonwealth Cup of Champions in 2009. He was also named vice-captain of the team.

International Recognition

Cordeencov represented the Moldovan national team throughout his playing career. He was a consistent performer for his country and contributed significantly to their successes on the international stage.

Kazakhstani Adventure and Retirement

In 2010, Cordeencov signed with FC Tobol in Kazakhstan and helped them secure the league title that season. However, he later returned to FC Tiraspol, where he ended his playing career in 2011 due to an injury.

Coaching Career

After retiring as a player, Cordeencov pursued a coaching career. He obtained his UEFA "B" license in 2013 and began coaching at the Sheriff Academy, where he led the "Sheriff - 2000" team. In 2016, he completed the UEFA "Pro" coaching license course.

Assistant Coach at Sheriff

Since 2018, Cordeencov has served as assistant coach for Sheriff Tiraspol, where he is responsible for supporting the head coach and providing guidance to the team.

Family and Personal Life

Andrei Corneencov is happily married to Oksana Corneencova. Together, they have two children: a son named Nikita and a daughter named Sofia.
