Early Career
Born in Ukraine, Oleksandr Lazarchuk began his football journey with hometown club FC Kryvbas in the DYuFL youth league. In 1999, he moved up to Kryvbas-2, who competed in the Ukrainian Second League.
Debut and Kryvbas Years
On October 28, 2000, Lazarchuk made his Ukrainian Premier League debut for Kryvbas in a 2:2 draw against FC Metalurh Zaporizhzhia, coming on as a substitute for Serhiy Pravkin in the 50th minute. He went on to make eight appearances for Kryvbas in the league.
Shakhtar Stint
In the winter of 2002, Lazarchuk joined Ukrainian giants Shakhtar Donetsk but spent most of his time with the club's reserve and youth teams.
Helioс and Dropper Period
In the spring of 2006, he moved to FC Helios Kharkiv as a free agent, signing a two-year contract. Despite also trialing with FC Arsenal Kyiv and FC Stal Dniprodzerzhynsk, he failed to establish himself at Helios.
Crimean Adventure
In early 2008, Lazarchuk switched to SC Igroservice Simferopol, which he left a year later.
International Career
Lazarchuk represented Ukraine at the U-19 level, participating in the 2001 UEFA European Under-19 Championship in Finland. He played two matches and conceded three goals as Ukraine finished third in their group, failing to progress beyond the first round.
