In 2004, Levitsky was approached by GSC Game World to contribute to the scenario of the video game "Heroes of Annihilated Empires." His continued collaboration with GSC led to his involvement in the development of the "S.T.A.L.K.E.R." series, including the first expansion pack, "Clear Sky."

In 2007, Levitsky was commissioned by the publishing house Eksmo to write several novels for the "S.T.A.L.K.E.R." book series.
