Early Life and Club Career
Andrey Lunin, a Ukrainian goalkeeper, was born in Kharkiv, Ukraine. He began his football career with the local youth academy before joining Dnipro in 2015. After a season with the club's youth team, Lunin made his senior team debut in the Ukrainian Premier League in 2016.
Rise to Prominence
Lunin quickly established himself as the first-choice goalkeeper for Dnipro, earning accolades as the Ukrainian Premier League's Young Player of the Month in April 2016. In 2017, he joined Zorya Luhansk, where he was named the club's Player of the Season in 2017/18.
International Career
Lunin represented Ukraine's youth teams at the U-17 and U-19 levels, participating in the 2016 UEFA European Under-17 Championship. In 2017, he was called up to the U-19 team. On 23 May 2017, Lunin received his first call-up to the Ukrainian national team. He made his senior debut against Saudi Arabia in 2018, becoming the youngest goalkeeper in the history of the national team.
Transfer to Real Madrid
In June 2018, Lunin completed a move to Spanish giants Real Madrid, joining the club on a five-year contract.
