Early Life and Education
Oleksandr Odarkchenko was born on November 2, 1978, in Kharkiv, Ukrainian SSR. He graduated with honors from Kharkiv State Academy of Technology and Organization of Nutrition in 2000, specializing in Commodity and Commercial Activities.
Academic Career
In 2003, Odarkchenko earned a Ph.D. in Food Products Commodity Science from the academy. He later became an Associate Professor in 2007 and Dean of the Faculty of Management of Trade and Entrepreneurship and Customs Activities at Kharkiv State University of Food Technology and Trade (HSUFT) in 2011.
In 2014, he completed his dissertation for a Doctor of Technical Sciences degree in Technology of Canned and Chilled Food Products. Since 2015, he has worked as a Professor in the Commodity Science, Quality Management, and Environmental Safety Department at HSUFT.
Professional Involvement
Odarkchenko serves as a member of the Dissertation Council of HSUFT, the Academic Council of the Faculty of Management of Trade and Entrepreneurship and Customs Activities, and the Expert Council of HSUFT. He is also a member of the Ukrainian Society of Commodity Scientists and Technologists.
Research and Publications
As a specialist in the preparation of engineering and scientific-pedagogical кадras, Odarkchenko has supervised three candidates who successfully defended their dissertations for a Candidate of Technical Sciences degree. He has published numerous research papers in his field.
Political Career
In June 2019, Odarkchenko was registered by the Central Election Commission as a candidate for the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine from the "Servant of the People" party in constituency #170.
