Early Life and Training
Andrei Pisarev, a renowned Ukrainian ballet artist, was born in Donetsk, Ukraine on April 1, 1986. Born to talented and celebrated Ukrainian National Artists Vadim Pisarev and Inna Dorofeeva, Andrei's passion for dance began early. In 1995, he commenced his ballet training at the Vadim Pisarev School of Choreographic Mastery in Donetsk, graduating with honors in 2002.
International Training and Career
To further elevate his artistry, Andrei pursued advanced training in Stuttgart, Germany, under the tutelage of renowned ballet master P.A. Pestov from 2002 to 2004. Upon returning to Ukraine, he joined the Donetsk Academic Theatre of Opera and Ballet named after A.B. Solovianenko as a leading soloist from 2004 to 2008.
National and International Recognition
In 2008, Andrei moved to Kyiv, where he performed as a leading soloist with the National Opera of Ukraine named after T.G. Shevchenko until 2014. He then spent a year with the Kremlin Ballet in Moscow, followed by a tenure as premier at the Kharkiv National Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre from 2016 to 2017.
Since 2017, Andrei has found a home at the Odessa National Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre as a ballet artist and leading stage master. In 2021, he achieved an extraordinary milestone by setting a new Ukrainian record for the "Largest Number of Awards and Honors in International Ballet Competitions."
