Early Career
Filipe Luís is a Brazilian attacking midfielder who currently plays for Vasco da Gama. He is the only player in the world to have won both the FIFA U-17 World Cup and the FIFA U-20 World Cup. In 2003, he was a member of Brazil's U-20 team that won the World Cup.
Success in South Korea
From 2004 to 2007, Filipe Luís played in South Korea, where he established himself as one of the league's top players. He was named the Best Player of the Championship in 2007.
