Biography of Andy Ram
Israeli professional tennis player, Andy Ram, is best known for his success in doubles matches. He was born on April 10, 1980, in Uruguay, but moved to Israel at a young age. Ram began his professional tennis career in 1996 and quickly made a name for himself as a talented doubles player.

Early Career Success
Throughout his career, Ram has been recognized for his exceptional skills in doubles matches. He achieved his first major success in 2006 when he teamed up with partner Jonathan Erlich. The Israeli pair ended the year ranked seventh in the ATP doubles rankings and qualified for the ATP Masters Cup. However, due to an injury sustained by Erlich, they were unable to compete in the tournament.
Grand Slam Victory
In 2008, Ram and Erlich achieved their greatest success by winning the Australian Open doubles championship. This victory solidified their status as one of the top doubles teams in the world. Despite Erlich's injury, Ram continued his success in 2008 by partnering with other players such as Max Mirnyi from Belarus and Michael Llodra from France, winning two additional tournaments.
Continued Success
In 2009, Ram formed a successful partnership with Mirnyi, winning the ATP Masters Series tournament in Miami and reaching the finals of several other major tournaments. He had further success in 2010 when he teamed up with Julian Knowle and reached the semifinals of the Barcelona Open and the French Open.
Mixed Doubles Achievements
Aside from his doubles success, Andy Ram has also achieved notable results in mixed doubles competitions. He won the Wimbledon mixed doubles title in 2006 with Vera Zvonareva and the French Open mixed doubles title in 2007 with Natalie Dechy. He also reached the finals of the Wimbledon mixed doubles tournament in 2003 with Anastasia Rodionova and the Australian Open mixed doubles tournament in 2009 with Dechy.
Andy Ram's skill and success in both doubles and mixed doubles matches have made him a respected and accomplished player in the tennis world. He continues to compete at a high level and is considered one of Israel's greatest tennis players.
