Early Life and EducationAngelika Volskaya is a Russian actress of theater and cinema, born on February 22, 1970. Her parents, Valery Volsky and Taisia Vostrykova, were geologists. She was born on a train while her parents were traveling to Rostov-on-Don. She spent her childhood in the city of Solnechnodolsk in the Stavropol Krai. During her childhood, she had an interest in mathematics and physics and dreamed of becoming a scientist. However, after finishing school, her friend convinced her to apply to a theater school together. She successfully passed all the auditions and was accepted into the GITIS theater school.
Career
Angelika Volskaya gained recognition after starring in the television series "Dve sudby" (Two Destinies), where she played the role of Lydia, a peripheral villain. She loves painting landscapes and portraits, collects antique books by Pushkin and Shakespeare, captures sunsets through photography, and has a passion for theater and music. Currently, she works in the theater company "Nezamuzhnaya zhenshchina" (Unmarried Woman), performs in creative evenings, and appears in numerous films in Russia, Ukraine, and other countries.
Family
Angelika Volskaya's first husband was screenwriter Sergey Buryak. She has a son named Ray (born Andrei Buryak in 1991), who is also an actor. Her second husband, whom she officially married in 2006, is Dmitry Yachevsky, a Russian theater and cinema actor and People's Artist of the Russian Federation.
