Anna Bezulyk Biography
Early Life and EducationAnna Bezulyk was born on May 13, 1971, in Kyiv, Ukraine. She graduated from Kyiv School No. 171 in 1988 and went on to earn a degree in mechanics and mathematics from Taras Shevchenko Kyiv National University in 1993.
Television Career
Anna began her television career in December 1990 as a presenter for the program "Gart" on the Ukrainian State Television and Radio Youth Editorial Board. From January 1992 to June 1995, she hosted and reported for UT-3, where she contributed to programs such as "Winner," "Ridicule," and "Kool News."
In June 1995, Anna joined UT-2 as a presenter. She became a commentator for the State Foreign Information Service of Ukraine (GVO "Hromada") in March 1996 and later hosted programs on channel 1+1. In September 1997, she created and hosted the popular morning show "Breakfast with 1+1," and in August 1999, became its executive editor.
Political Commentary and Talk Shows
Anna's reputation as a political commentator grew in 2002 when she hosted televised debates and became the author and presenter of the political talk show "I Think So." In 2006, she was recognized as one of the 100 most influential women in Ukraine by "Focus" magazine.
"I Think So" on 5 Kanal
After leaving channel 1+1 in 2009, Anna's talk show "I Think So" moved to 5 Kanal. The program aired until March 18, 2010, when the contract between Ukrainian Media Group and 5 Kanal expired.
Later Career
From August 2010, Anna worked on 5 Kanal, where she hosted the Sunday talk show "Republic with Anna Bezulyk" from February 24, 2011. She also hosted the socio-political talk show "Justice" on Inter channel from January to February 2013.
Awards and Honors
Anna Bezulyk has been recognized for her contributions to Ukrainian journalism. In 1999, she was awarded the title of Honored Journalist of Ukraine. In March 2007, she received the Order of Princess Olga, Third Class, for her significant contributions to Ukraine's cultural and economic development.
